Do I need an account to use GhostLine?
No. GhostLine gives you a random callsign the first time you open it. You can change it in Settings at any time.
How long do messages last?
Messages and images automatically disappear after 10 minutes, and every message shows how long it has left.
Is GhostLine end-to-end encrypted?
No. Traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS and private rooms are guarded by a secret code, but messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Please don't share passwords or sensitive personal data. See the privacy policy for what is stored.
Can I install GhostLine on my phone or computer?
Yes. GhostLine is a progressive web app — choose Install or Add to Home Screen in your browser for a full-screen experience.
Can I add GhostLine chat to my own website?
Yes. Open a room you own, choose Developer API from the menu and copy the iframe code. The Embed API guide has a live demo.
How do I report abuse?
Use the flag button next to any message to report it. Reports are reviewed by moderators, and you can contact support from Settings.
